From initial contact, it can take anywhere from 6 months to a year to build a new home. Some projects may last longer than that if the home is more complex, if the weather is bad, or if there is a delay in available materials.

There are hundreds of variables at play affecting cost when designing and building a new home. Because of this, we don't have a set price per square foot that we charge. Instead, we work closely with you from the start to determined how to get the most out of your budget.

The best way is to get financing is to get a construction loan. If you have already been prequalified for a construction loan with a lender you trust, great! We’re happy to work with them. If you don’t already have a construction loan in place, we can recommend a few lenders we've worked with in the past.

You should talk to an insurance agent before your construction plans are set in stone. This ensures that the location or details of your home don’t cause a problem with insurance. For example, building in a flood zone may come with higher premiums. If you have the opportunity to find a different location before you’re stuck with higher insurance costs, it can save you in the long run.
Unoccupied property poses risks for different problems than occupied property does. This is why coverage is important: it will protect your property before it’s occupied.
